Don't know what to make of this?

Hi everyone.

My first pregnancy sadly ended in a missed miscarriage in early April, and we have been TTC since.

I'm only 8DPO today, so still very early, but caved and took an eBay cheapie and got this.

I'm pretty sure it's negative but another part of me feels like I see something? Eyes please!

Its very hard to tell. Think of it this way:

Implantation occurrs between 6DPO and 12DPO.
Assuming you implanted at 6 DPO, have a 24 hour doubling time (as opposed to the average of 48 hours) and started at 1 HCG. At 8DPO your HCG would be 4. If you start at 5HCG (the highest typical non pregnant level.) You would still only be 20HCG (these are BLOOD levels. urine levels can be much lower.), and depending on that test it could be another day before getting a BFP. (Most are 25miu.)

I would wait a full two days and test at 10DPO. If still getting BFN don't be discouraged! you may not have even implanted yet. =]

Yes! Gives me hope. Late BFPs are possible ☺️
