Hey all,
I'm 9+4 and going a bit crazy! I've been trying to find the heartbeat on my hi bebe since 9 weeks with no luck. Today I changed the battery's and tried with a full bladder and I *think* what I found was the placenta low down just off centre about 1cm above pubic line. I heard my usual heartbeat but behind it was a really fast uneven and syncopated beat. My Doppler only picked up my usual heart rate on the screen but it sounded really clear. Could that be baby behind the placenta???

Thanks all xx

Hi there! It sounds promising but the best way to check is to put a pillow underneath your hips, exhale, and move the wand around very slowly. I couldn't find the HB without a pillow under my hips and a full bladder until this week!

Baby's heartbeat is pretty unmistakeable, and you've already heard it with your previous pregnancies so if you think it is then you're probably right :) good luck!
