Wowza. I just managed to hear my baby's heartbeat with my Angelsounds....I've tried a few times but today tried the baby oil tip with a pillow under hips and a full bladder, sure enough, just like a steam train, about 172bpm! Amazing!
Thanks to all the lovely bnb ladies for tips on dopplers, I wouldn't even know what one was if it wasnt for this forum, let alone how to use one!
Now.....how on earth do I record it? Tried plugging lead in to phone/laptop but just recorded silence. I am a technophobe though! x

my one was recording silence when i first plugged it in but then i think i had to go into the sound settings somehow... trying to remember how. let me do it then i will get back to you :)

click start (the little windows flag on the bottom left of your screen)

click control panel

click sound

click the recording tab.

make sure microphone is selected

click properties.

click levels tab

make sure everyithing is set to high

press apply.

go to the playback tab

select speakers

click properties and do the same as you did in the sound tab.

apply

try out your doppler by recording something in 'sound recorder'.

if this doesnt work let me know :)

Sorted - just tried plugging the lead in the other way round as suggested on another website cheers

Marvellous :)

How far on are you and how soon can you use one?
