Hey ladies,

DH and I went to Buy Buy Baby yesterday (2 hours away) to use my in store coupon and get our car seat :) (plus eat at Cheesecake Factory!)

I am totally stuck on deciding on a double stroller (and DH is NOOOO help lol)

I originally was going to just order the Baby Trend Double Jogging Stroller https://www.walmart.com/ip/Baby-Trend-Double-Jogger-Millennium/14895501 since we have the single version of this stroller and absolutely love it. It supposedly folds up compact, but when I search for reviews, pictures of consumers, and videos, I can't find much at all other than people saying that it is very, very wide. It's definitely the cheapest of them all and I was thinking what the heck.. BUTTTTTTTT now I'm not sure.

We looked at the Citi Mini yesterday a bit, but really didn't pay too much of a close look because DH was appalled by the price, lol. (also can't use 20% off coupons on baby jogger brand) but from what I have seen this seems to be the most compact double (side by side) stroller. I have watched plenty of videos and everyone seems to love this stroller. The main things that I don't like about this stroller is that the wheels look cheap to me (especially for that price) and there are no cup holders up top or at the bottom unless you purchase them as an add on. https://www.buybuybaby.com/1/1/39172-strollers-baby-jogger-city-mini-double-stroller-black-grey.html

Now, I have just recently come across the Graco FastAction Fold Duo https://www.buybuybaby.com/store/pr...n-rockweave-trade/1043319275?categoryId=32044 (which is a bit pricey, but I can use my coupon on this) and it seems to be very similar to the city mini

I posted this before I meant to lol, but I am very confused with the dimensions when I read them because some list them just as numbers and some say HxLxD, but I'm not sure what they are considering the be the length and so on.. Lol

It also makes it very frustrating when NONE of the stores near me (Walmart, Target, Toys R Us) cary double strollers AT ALL except for the sit and stand ones which I DO NOT want. I was disappointed that Buy Buy Baby didn't have many in store either after we had driven two hours there.

Right now, the only time that we really use a stroller is if we go on vacations (big malls, zoo, amusement park, etc), daily walks in the summer, and outdoor things in the summer such as parades, music festivals, fireworks, etc. I actually don't even carry the stroller in my car anymore because it takes up my whole trunk and if I am just running to the store or mall with DD, she just walks.

When it comes to having two kids.. I don't know.. Lol, I likely would never have both of them with me at the mall by myself (If I need to do any shopping I tend to do it during my breaks from work so it's kid free ;)) or if I need to go to the store such as Walmart or Target I will use a cart. So, I'm thinking that the stroller will likely be used for mostly outdoors things just like the single one that we have now is. With that being said, I'm not really too concerned about not being able to fit in isles or doors as people have said about the side by side strollers, but I don't want it to be so wide that it's unbearable to push and taking up the whole road lol. I'm also thinking that if I am going to make a quick trip to the mall or something by myself for some reason, I would take the single stroller with me and have baby girl in the stroller and DD can walk (she does just fine on short trips to the mall. She actually loves shopping lol )

If DD was younger, I would probably definitely splurge and get the more expensive stroller, but since she will be 3 in March (before babies due in April) I'm unsure. I really like that all of these strollers that I have listed here are capable of holding up to 100lbs so I could use it for a long time with both kids. DD will sit in the stroller if we go on walks, but when we go to outdoors festivals, parades, etc. she is usually in and out of her stroller, but at her age, it's still nice to have a place for her when she gets tired or doesn't want to walk, especially in crowds of people to keep track of her :p

I feel like I'm just rambling on and on.. I guess I'm just looking for a second opinion since talking to DH about this matter is like talking to a brick wall Lol.

I'm popping in from first tri because I just started researching double strollers this weekend. I'm stuck on the same 3 brands as you are. I have a baby trend single jogger for my daughter now and I love it. The only problem with the baby trend double one you have linked (it's a problem for me for the first few months, anyways) is that it does not accept an infant car seat (at least I found out after reading reviews on another website). Supposedly it needs the tray in front to do so. So I've been looking at this one instead: https://www.babytrend.com/joggers_double/DX60402.html
My only problem is it looks super bulky and I have 2 small cars (cobalt and sonic hatchback) so I'm seriously doubting I'll be able to fit it in my car lol

My dh said no way to the expensive one as well lol and I'm on the edge with Graco just because they've had so many recalls in the past year (including my infant car seat from my dd) that I'm not sure how I feel.

I'll be stalking this thread!

I also will have a just 3 year old when baby is born, she's had some problems with her walking and stability and is currently having physio, but I will not be getting a double pram. We will keep her pram for big days out and buy baby one possibly with a buggy board on for if she's gets tried walking but wouldn't use a double as she's in nursery 3 days a week and would look silly taking baby places with just him in a double lol

Greats, lol, I drive a cobalt too (DH has a Jeep Patriot) and I am 99% positive that that baby trend will fit in the trunk. I thought maybe the other one would because without the trays, it does fold more compact (a little) but it's still bulky for out and about ... Like the videos I've watched, that thing takes up the whole sidewalk! Lol I am pretty positive that the citi mini would fit in my trunk no problem because I think folded it's 29ish inches wide and it's pretty narrow looking when folded too. I too am not a fan of graco. DDs first car seat was graco and it was so heavy and bulky and we wen through two graco strollers before purchasing our baby trend and I swore I would never purchase another graco item:p the citi mini just keeps looking better and better... Ugh, but can I justify it?

Slongson, I debated on this for a while too, but I think for us it's necassary to have a double and of coarse keep our single as well.
