Dr brown or Avent?

Anyone used avent bottles? Im using dr browns right now, because i thought they were supposed to be the best for gas. We have switched formukas and switched back, doesnt seem to effect LO's gas. So, i thought well, maybe switching bottles might help. My friend recommended Avent. I thought i might buy a couple to test out.

I really like the dr brown bottle and we have had not problem with gas at all...

Were using the dr browns right now, and gas is definetly a problem.

I have used both. The NICU specialist recommended Dr Brown but we just switched to Avent after the Dr Brown for almost 3 months. She seems to have less gas & spit up with these. They make her eat slower because it comes out faster. Instead of taking 10 min to eat 4 or 5oz it takes her about 30 min. When she does have gas I have found Gripe Water is the best esp for hiccups!!

Do you put the gripe water in the milk when you give her the bottle?

I have both and much prefer Avent bottles. Whenever I tried to give Thomas a Dr Brown bottle he would take in too much air and end up with more milk over him than in him.

We use Avent here too. No problems with gas.

I use Avent and so have all my family as well and have no issues with gas at all.
