Dreams about ex!

So sine getting pregnant I have had probably 5 dreams about an ex. Now this is an ex from a loooong time ago. We dated from 8th to 10th grade then I broke up with him but we continued to keep in touch, got back together for a short period of time (cause I got jealous he was moving on! Haha). We both became close with the other ones family and we would go on trips etc

We have always kinda kept in touch and were really good friends after high school (we did not go to the same high school) until he met his now wife who pretty much forbid him to talk to me. We are friends on FB, and used to text every once in awhile, the last time I saw him was probably 3 years ago.

These dreams are not sex dreams...I am just in love with him in every single one. They are so vivid! Anyone else having ex boyfriend dreams?

Throughout both of my pregnancies, I've had dreams about people/situations in my past. It's just something these crazy hormones dig up. I recently had a series of dreams about being in love with different men, both from my past and made up... I think it was just from all the arguing I've been doing with my partner, though. How are you and your partner doing? How's the romance? Do you need a date night?

Other than not really having sex (too scared and tired in first tri!) haha. Things are fine. But yeah,maybe we just need a night out to dinner just the two of us.

I am hoping that this being tired thing starts to go away since I am heading into 2nd tri. No fighting unless it is me being crabby towards him because I am tired. Haha

I get this all the time when pregnant, I think maybe it's like a part of me saying this is it, no going back now. Kind of thing, and the dreams are a kind of what could have been thing. Pretty much induced by all the hormones and feelings you get in pregnancy x

Ha! It's really weird reading this thread!

I actually just had another ex dream last night. It's of my first bf who I dated in highschool and have remained friends with.

In my dreams, he's always the father of my baby!

Last night was the second or third dream like that. Interesting to see it can be caused by pregnancy and that others have dreams like that too

Whimsy: no weird that both of ours were about our first "real" boyfriends. Hahaha.

A girl I work with that is 30 weeks pregnant said she has had so ex boyfriend dreams too. So so so weird!!!

same here... in all my pregnancies ive had similare dreams to yours lol.. sooooooo annoying they are.. i also had alot of scary nightmares to in first tri i still dream but there not AS vivid .. i always was soooo tried cause never felt like i got a proper sleep .. they will settle down! xx

I think those dreams are about letting go of the past and moving on to a new chapter in your life. He represents the past.
