Ok so I naively thought that once I had found my perfect dress (which I have and she is a beauty), the rest would be minor detail that just 'falls' into place. Turns out that was dumb lol!

I am 5ft 7 so I am no short ass and my dress comes in 2 lengths - standard and long. The sample in the store is standard and it is the right length on me...until I put shoes on  If I wear a stiletto, the dress comes like an inch off the ground which is too short. If I wear a mid-heel (like 2.5 inches) then it is perfect, it kind of skims the floor which is what I want. So whats the problem I hear you ask?? All the pretty shoes are like 4 damn inches high and the mid heel shoes are U G L Y!!!

What do I do?? Order the longer dress (at an extra cost of god knows how much) or keep looking for mid heel shoes that don't resemble something I could find in my nans wardrobe!!

The other part of this 'dilemma' is that 2 of my BM's are quite short so if I do choose to order the longer dress and wear high heels, I will tower over them which I don't want. I want to look like the princess - not the ogre lol! So with this in mind, a mid heel would be best!!

I realise I am rambling and have pretty much forgot what I am asking now.

HELP??

Thanks for all your advice ladies! I am going to have a good shop around today!

My major problem is that I am such a shoe fiend and I know everyone will be expecting my shoes to be fabulous and I don't want to disappoint lol. Ideally, I want a peep toe (I am not a fan of strappys) with a bit of sparkle/bling. The search begins......

Could you not bling some plain ones yourself? im planning to :)

I am the least creative person I know or else I would definitely give it a go. My friends knows someone who does it for a living though so I suppose thats always a fall back option!
