I really fancy a glass of wine with dinner and wondered how safe it is.

I am expressing and bf and have enough bottles to feed lo tonight.

Will it be ok to bf him in the morning if I have a glass.

Also if I was to take a bottle out with me that has been in fridge will it be ok to warm up when I need it.

Lo sometimes has breaks in feeding can I re heat a bottle that he has been drinking from 10 mins before.

    Thanks for any replies

If you had a glass of wine with dinner and wanted to nurse in the morning it would be out of your system by then so that shouldn't be a problem, and if the bottle is only 10 minutes old I don't think you would need to re heat it?

You can have a glass of wine and still BF. Just try and time the wine so you have it right after a feed, when you know you'll have a few hours gap. Alcohol leaves breastmilk at roughly the same rate as alcohol leVes the blood, about a unit an hour. If your baby needed feeding right after one glass of wine, it'd be fine. More than that, I personally would observe the hour per unit 'rule' before I fed again.
