Drop-Ins or No?

Can someone explain to me what the difference between the drop in bottles and regular bottles? and are the liners expensive? i've made bottles for my nephews before but they weren't drop-ins. is making a bottle the same with liners? thanks in advance.
Sorry, just looking at stuff in stores makes me wonder the difference?

Liners are about $9 a box of 100 liners. We used them with my son and loved them. They were just easier in my opinion than cleaning tons of parts (say versus the Dr. Browns bottles).

Im a huge fan on the drop ins and yes its the same thing as making a regular bottle

They are also good in helping to prevent gas and you can squeeze all the air out

Sounds like the drop in's are fairly popular! Seeing all the bottle brands makes my head spin. lol
