So my story goes...

I've had 3 failed pregnancies previously (1 mmc, 1 ectopic & 1mc) so my husband and I both went for tests which came up normal. But I have been put on treatment. I have to take 75mg Asprin everyday upto 36weeks, 5mg (rather than the 400mmg standard dose) folic acid untill 12weeks (by scan) and 400mg twice daily of Cyclogest pessary (inserted when only dh should go lol).

THIS PREGNANCY...
BFP on 31/12/11
Scan 12/1/12 (6w+2 by LMP) at EPU to ensure baby is in the right place (sonographer saw what looked like a water bubble in my womb which could indicate ectopic again) return scan booked
Scan 26/1/12 (8w+2 by LMP) at EPU saw baby 6w+5 and saw hb fluttering away and Midwife booking in appointment
Bleed 27/1/12 went to Drs book in again at EPU
Scan 30/1/12 (8w+6 by LMP) at EPU saw baby 8w+2 and hb still strong, baby had 11days growth in 4 days (although scans are not the law they are just an estimate lol)
12 week scan 1/3/12 - BABY IS PERFECT! measuring 12w+4

Cannot believe its finally happening for us, i'm sooooo excited :)

Woop, congrats how are things going? Have you felt baby yet x x

Pregnancy is my third, I have 4year old twins and a 2year old, both were carried fine. This one however is not the same, I have two subchorionic hematomas, one which is large so I'm being monitored every 2weeks, had 7 scans already due to the hematomas causing large bleeds, do you know what the cause of your miscarriages were?
I've felt a flutter here and there but just passing it as gas til I feel a real movement :) have you felt yours?
I'm having a caesarean section again, what are your birth plans? X

All my previous pregnancies have been labeled "spontaneous" loses as no testing was done on any of the babies. We had tests ourselves after the 3rd loss and they all came back clear.
I've not had any flutters or anything yet so I'm still anxiously waiting babies first movements, I got to see the midwife last Monday for heartbeat check and heard it really clearly, although she did have to chase baby round my belly as every time she found baby, he/she moved lol. As for the birth
I'm hoping to be able to have a water birth with gas and air but this is my first so I don't know how I'll be with the pain etc I've said to my dh if I need an epidural then I'll have one although I'd prefer not to.

Hi I'm due sept 30th. Lost Ellie at 40 hours due to polycystic kidney disease, OH and I are carriers. Rainbow Theo isn't even a carrier though :)

Well I'm glad this one has brought you some luck. I've not heard heartbeat as of yet but I have a midwife app soon so guessing they will do it then. And I wouldn't worry about not feeling anything just yet were still quite early and they say first time mummies feel it a bit later than the mums with their 2nd/3rds. What are you hoping for boy/girl? Have you got any cravings yet? X

No cravings as of yet, i've gone off a few things though lol.
I don't really mind having a boy or girl other than we have a definate girls name but can't agree what so ever on a boys lol. Yeah you should hear hb at your midwife app. :-) its all so exciting, hehe.

nope, went for my 20w scan last week and told the consultant (i'm under consultant for scans due to dh heart disease) that i didnt want to know, although i kinda do at the same time lol. after a 40m scan, my consultant asked us to go back in 2 weeks as baby was lay in an awkward position for her to get measurements. she tilted the table so my head was to the floor, she got me to lift my ass and wiggle etc but nope baby was reluctant to move, so was obviously very comfy. I've now got to go back in 2 weeks and do it all over again and hope i can still keep the courage and say we do not want to know! lol
