We've only ever tried one sort of dummies with Sophie and she didn't take them (the Tommee Tippee one). Have you been in this situation that your baby would take another kind of dummy after he refused 1 sort?
Reason I'm asking is that I'm getting quite upset about naptime. It always goes paired with a struggle and screaming on her side. I've tried literally everything, but she always ends up crying. She doesn't do this so bad at bedtime at night, because she has a feed before it. But I was really hoping for naps that I could avoid feeding her to sleep as then my husband would be really upset he could never look after her becuase he can't feed her.
I'm really hoping she'll take a different sort of dummy, is it possible? Or should I just feed her to sleep for every nap? I feel so guilty for her crying and feel like it's my fault. Other babies I see when I go to mum&baby clubs just yawn and mummies rock them or put them down and they fall asleep. I've tried it all with Sophie, but she just will not sleep. I rock her and sing to her now until she stops screaming which usually lasts for 5-10 minutes, but I wish she could just fall asleep without being so stressed, surely it can't be good for her!
Sorry for the ramblings, I'm a bit upset about it all , I'm so scared I'm doing it all wrong!
