i have majorly sore and itchy ears. i know it isnt allergies as i already take tabets for my allergys and they stop my ears from itching from allergies. but over the last week my inner ears have got really itchy and have gotton to the point now where i cant tounch anywhere near my ear canal cuz it is realy painful even if i just turn my head to quick it is painful. does anyone know of any ear drops or anything that are ok to take during pregnancy as i know a lot of them contain steriods so arnt recommended during pregnancy

Best make an appointment at docs hun or ask the chemist, be on the safe side.

There is an ear drop called Ear Calm but I think that's more for outer ear infections (you'd need to talk to a pharmicist to ask if it is ok obviously) I've suffered with them for years- you should really go to the doctors, they usually prescribe antibiotics for an ear infection, but the best thing they can give if you make a point of asking is an anti-biotic ear drop, work much faster than tablets (ear infections rarely go by themselves so best to get it treated) Oh and avoid getting water in them (cotton wool and vaseline in the ear while showering, and avoid swimming) x

i have my specialist on tuesday so hopefully they will be able to sort it for me. yeh i never get water in my ears as it drives me nuts cuz i have a perferated eardrum so one of my ears can be quite sensitive anyway so am very careful with water around my ears. lol
