Hello:flower:,
My DH has brought home some pheasant, just wondering if its safe to eat as it's been shot and will probably still have shot in it? - i didn't even think about it if DH hadn't asked!!:dohh:

You'll be Ok, just don't eat the lead shot (which you wouldn't anyway!). Last time I ate pheasant i nearly cracked a tooth biting into the shot by mistake - just wasn't expecting it in a restaurant to still be there!

I ate deer and partridge a few weeks ago without even thinking.. now I'm not sure it was a good idea, but I asked my doctor and she said it's ok just know that it's well cooked!

Yep shooting season is upon us!! We've had pheasant and partridge and rabbit so far, and all was very tasty...luckily OH got the shot!!
