If a seller is saying that they havent received an item but we have proof of purchase what happens next?

Proof of Postage is not enough, you need proof of delivery.

Did you send it trackable?

Was it expensive?

It was about £10.50 in total damn postie!!!

Would I have to go Royal Mail 1st?

When did you post it?

If your seller opens a dispute and because you dont have proof of delivery, they will find in the buyers favour.

After the 15th day RM decide an item is lost so you will have to fill in a claim form and get compensation from them and they only do this if you have a shop reciept for the item you sent :dohh:

Ask the buyer to wait till Friday and if it hasnt arrived you should just refund them via the refund link in your PayPal account and then harass RM for compo.

Whats the buyers eBay id?

TBH 95% of items sent 1st class do get to their destinations but i wouldn't put it past your buyer to have actually recieved their item and realised that they can get to kepp the item and get their money back.

Update the lass has resent me a message and on it it says the item was not in the box?

How can she claim that she didnt receive it then claim the item was not in the box? I did post it in a box so she must have received it?

Thats what I have put in my response back to the dozy bint!!! why go to all the hassel of causing grief if she hadnt of been such a nasty bint then I would have accepted the item back x

Tell her to fuck off, definitely sounds like she's trying to con you.

Details the buyer provided:
Problem: The buyer has not received the item
The buyer has tried contacting you
The buyer paid on 25 Aug, 2010
The buyer paid for the item with PayPal.
The buyer contacted you through email.
You responded to the buyer with: "got wait"

The buyer did not get a response from you.
The item was not in the box

This is what I have received?? I am baffled by both of them x

I don't get it. In the first instance she's saying she's not received it, but then she says it's not as described??

Does your proof of postage show the weight of the item? Obviously an empty box wouldn't weigh too
Much!

If she has opened a PayPal dispute saying she never recieved the item, then she is screwed because if she closes the INR dispute, she cant open a SNAD (Significantly not as described) dispute :haha:

She sounds like a rite con artist.

Ask her to weigh the package.

Ask for pictures.

The poilice will laugh in her mush.

Its not fraud, if in fact she IS telling the truth, the Police should be called by YOU because it looks like the Postie is on the rob.
