If something big is pick up only, would you buy it anyway and arrange your own courier, is that allowed? Theres something I REALLY want and its a good Buy It Now price, its only just been added and messaged the seller but dont want to risk it being snapped up, do I just buy it and expect them to accept a courier or can they refuse? :help:

xxx

i dont see any reason why they would refuse *except* the fact for a courier to accept it, it would have to be packaged properly so they aren't liable for damage. So if its big/fragile/breakable, thats a shedload of bubble wrap/boxes needed which you wont have paid for on ebay....iykwim? So the seller might ask you to pay for packing materials if thats the case :)

And the other thing is, a courier won't give an exact time that they will collect so they will have to wait in all day. Probably safest to wait for a reply first.

ahhh ok then thanks girls :hugs: Glad I asked first, that BIN button is SOOOO tempting :haha: xxx

I think the ladies have covered it, but felt ignorant ignoring lol x

Personally, i'd contact the seller first. Sometimes couriers will only collect at certain times of the day which may not be suitable for the seller. Also - if the courier says they'll only give time slots for collection e.g. "between 1pm - 5pm", the seller may not be happy about having to wait in for hours. So i'd find out about the terms for the courier and then contact the seller to see if they agree.

I would message the seller, because its easy for you to organise the courier but the seller has to parcel it all up and they mite not be able to etc.

Missed out anyway :hissy: I knew it would have been taken before they replied :( xxx
