Edgeware birthing centre??

Hi ladies just wanted to see if any of you are planning or have already had a baby at this center? Ive only heard good things about it but wanted to hear others experiences? I wanted a homebirth but only so i could waterbirth which my local hospital dont offer So was going to look at this place as they have loads of pools and hubby can stay in double bed with you over night after

I've heard lots of good things about Edgeware, particularly water births...It sounds lovely! This would have been my choice, but unfortunately because I'm on antidepressants I have to go to a hospital. I'm going to my local which is Barnet General. Sorry I can't be any more help, as I haven't actually been to the birthing centre, but if you can go there it does sound great! xxx

it says your in herts, im going to watford general and they have a birthing centre there with water birth baths.. isnt it closer to you?

Im in stevenage, my midwife said itshould be a 20 min drive just straight down the a1, whereas it would normally take me 40 mins to get to watford, so i must be the other end of herts!

im Hillingdon borough end... im between watford and edgware.. but Watford hospital is the closest to me... .. but its not for you, my hubby agreed and said edgware is quicker for you..
it seems edgware birthing centre is the same sort of set up as the watford birth centre, it seems really nice and had good reviews x
