We are thinking of getting this for when LO gets here but at 50 pound think it is quite pricey for what is essentially a play mat (but its just soooo cute :) ). There arent any reviews of it on the ELC website but they did have a previous product that was very similar and got poor reviews, has this improved since they brought out this new one?

I had the previous and it is utter crap, I can't imagine it being any different

Awww no thats such a shame, thanks for your help anyway. I had read that the mat underneath was really flimsy and not confortable for LO.

If, going by what we had, it was hopeless. It fell over a lot(its inflatable) and the mat was rubbish.

I have the red kite sit me up! Its brill! My daughter loves it and even though she can't sit up on her own it really supports her. Plus I got a bargin! Brand new in the box on ebay for £7 posted!! xx

I fancied that in the Asda sale, might go and get it now, thank you!

I have fancied getting this too... awww its a pity, its super cute!! but im glad i read this before spending £50

I got the old version and it was a waste of money! Not sure if the new one is any better but still wouldn't say something like that is worth £50 :flower:x

Get the red kite one. I like the elc one, but used it for such a short time that it really wasn't worth it.

I've got one. It's essentially a blow up ring covered in fabric. :flower:

My baby will have the odd nap on it, so it's been OK. I bought mine second hand for a tenner though x

We were given one, Emily slept in it when she was v.small and was comfy but it's not worth the money- things like that you can get v.cheap nearly new, I've seen a lot of people selling them still in the box for around £10 x

ours was sh*te
i took it back lol and they said so many people had bought it back aswell
he looked so uncomfy in the ring and had to put a pillow underneath so he wasnt essentialy in a hole on the floor. i cant imagine if hed leant back on the sitting part it would have stayed upright either!

I bought one off here 2nd hand, LO slept it in a few times but the ring was small and flimsy, didn't seem like there was enough support for her to sit up in the ring. We then got a 2nd hand bigger sit up ring which was great.

We brought it for LO for Christmas and we opened it to try it out and it was fine! Really amazing x

we have one, lo slept in his when he was small, loved it infact, but had a short life really as soon as he outgrew it

My LO is the same Dan-o, he has had the odd nap in it but thats all at the moment. I also got my second hand for a tenner so not so worried!

We were bought one as a gift and we used it instead of a bouncy chair, and it was fine. I wouldn't say it's worth the price tag, as, like others have said, it's life span is short. It was ok for what it was though. And the little toys are quite sweet :)

not sure what its like as I don't have it but I was in ELC a few days ago and it was half price for 20 quid.

Don't bother with the ELC one, it's utter rubbish!
