Empty sac at 5 weeks 2 days anyone?

I am really worried as I went for an early scan due to my miscarriages and they saw a sac with nothing else in it. I mostly worried that there was no yolk sac. Now I am having my hcg levels tested in case of ectopic even though the doctor says it's normal not to see the yolk sac but I am not really believing this!! Has anyone had a similar experience at 5.2 or more weeks? I'm going out of my mind with worry and think I will need to call the doctor back today.

i went at 5w1 day cos of bad pains, they said my ovary was enlarged and nothing at all in my womb, thinking it was eptopic i had surgery ,to find it was an 8cm cyst and the pregnancy was to early to see,went bk at 7wk and saw baby , its prob just to early yet x

i had an empty sac at 6+2 then went back at 7 and baby was there with a perfect heartbeat and now he's 11 months

you have been for your scan much too early. it is ok not to see the yolk sac until 5+4 with internal scanning. Even at 5+4 it only takes you to be out a couple of days with your ovulation date. Really, scanning before six weeks will not tell you very much at all, apart from the fact that it is not ectopic. Go back in a week or so!

I was there at 5+5 for an emergency scan, empty scan back at 7w and wee heart beating away! its normal!
