12 weeks or 13 weeks?!

we all say 12 weeks but i actually think its at the end of week 12 so in reality 12+6 is still in first tri and 13 is second tri although some say as soon as you reach 12 your in your second tri (personally im going off 12 week as they say the baby EDD can only be determined accourately in the second tri and our doctors offer a 12 week scan to determin that lol) x x x

well someone split up 40 weeks 3 ways, and it came to 13 1/2 weeks per trimester. I have always been told by doctors that once you're past 12 weeks, they consider you 2nd trimester...13 weeks is definitely 2nd tri to me...14 weeks, is a little long in my opinion...I always feel that 12 weeks marks it because that's when the uterus really starts lifting up where you can feel it. After 12 weeks, it seems like all the fun stuff starts happening.
