Just wondering if you can feel the babies head when its engaged?

At my apointment my Dr couldn't feel the head at all and thought the baby might have turned. She ended up doing a scan and yup, babies head was down.

Alot of you seem to be getting some score of engagement and i've never been told one? Id like to think it was a good thing she couldn't feel the baby's head... lol... Though it might not mean anything.

My baby didn't engage until I was IN labour. It felt like EXTREME pressure for about a week before I had baby.

Mine started to engage but popped back out which apparently is common if it happens early? I just felt a bit more pressure than usual and I was waddling more. I also felt like I had to pee again before I even finished washing my hands  Loads of pressure on your bladder

Ya I know about the pressure... and I constantly have tons, I get lots of cervical pain too.

Just wondering what the doctor feels from the outside... since mind couldn't even find the babies head.

My baby has been egaged from 34 weeks, but my mw doesn't write in 5ths. She says it's either in or out.

Yea mine doesnt tell me anything really... I think though if the doctor cant feel the head at all then that means she's fully engaged!!

My sons head is only started to engage but I could defo feel the difference. I can't stop weeing now and when you need to go you need to go as the pressure on your bladder is incredible. I'm also waddling alot more now and from the outside I've been told my belly has dropped so thats all the signs. It's quite uncomfortable really. Hope this helps. It sounds to me like your LO is fully engaged if they can't feel any of the head. x

mine was 3-4/5th engaged last friday so she had only just started to engage, i have been weeing alot more, and my balance has been off, have to stand for a few seconds before i walk. also this morning i noticed my bump has dropped and it feels like i got a baby in my bum!
xx

all the above i feel lol, i think its different for everyone baby engaged when they fewll like it lol either in labour or before its all down to them they know more than they let on :) quite annoying really wish there was a light in your belly button which was red untill you where going to go into labour when it turned orange then green when your all ready to go lol.

it wouls make think much easier without all this guessing :)
