Enought food?

Hi ladies,
I am a bit concerned, i am anemic 10.9 at my 28 weeks apointement so i am currently on 2 tablets of ferrous gluconate a day plus my prenatals and feel well exhausted.:sleep:, so i was wondering if i was eating enought.... I know it might sound dumb but i really have noooo cravings at all and when i eat i eat small portions due to my stomach so was wondering what you were eating..

Today i had
Morning abol of mini chocolate weetabix
Lunch a medium slice of homemade courgette mince lamb and bechamel sauce bake+ 1 small glace of milk+ 2 chocolate digestive biscuit and a bite of cheesecake and one slice of bread

It looks a lot when i read it but wantto know if my tiredness is due to my food intake or my iron...

Well, to be honest third tri is making me tired all on it's own. That said you have low iron levels which can make you tired. If food does have something to do with it it might be what you're eating, or maybe you need to spread your meals out a bit more. I eat 5 times a day but I eat less each time than I would if eating 3 times a day.
 
Thanks for the reply, i guess i am gonna have to eat more meals during the day but urgh not even hungry :wacko:
 
I find that I cannot eat big meals at all especially in the evening. I literally graze all day. I dont think I can go longer than 2-3 hours without having somthing to nibble on even if it is just a handfull of pumpkin seeds and a banana or a couple of rice cakes.

I sometimes worry I am not eating enough simply because I dont eat 3 meals a day as such but I think you just have to go with what your body is telling you. As long as what you are eating is healthy (most of the time) then I think you are doing fine. Being anemic you will probably just need to find some nice iron rich foods like a few handfulls of raisins to pick at if you can't stomach something big or a small chicken salad.

Sorry I am not a great dietician as you can tell lol but I find little and often is better for me so may work for you too.
