Entertainment for 11 month old?

Iv took my dd out if nursery (she was in 3 days a week) as I'd like to spend more time with her before this baby arrives and also would rather put the money in her bank than the nurserys!

So what can I do with her to keep her entertained? She has plenty of toys but id like to do interacting stuff with her! Is she too young for paints n stuff?

My friend's daughter is endlessly fascinated with containers.. putting things in, taking things out etc.

I would worry mostly about any crafts because most stuff isn't safe to go in the mouth, or at least isn't healthy.
Maybe some natural/edible playdough?

What about a water table, or some kind of playing with water (google the water tables for ideas on what kinds of water interaction might be interesting then find cheaper alternative stuff around your house)... you can set up a basin and let her experiment with filling stuff up, pouring it out etc? Obviously closely watch her while around water at all times.
Walks and exploring nature are good too.

i love the idea of this, not too sure if theyre too young but im getting it for my LOs christmas. no mess, just water and a great big mat to have fun on
