Hi ladies - just looking for a bit of reassurance I suppose! I had an episiotomy and tear with dd 7 weeks ago - it got infected plus I had a haematoma which was absolute agony! Midwife said my stitches were very badly done - she actually made a complaint to the hospital about it as They were so bad! Antibiotics cleared up infection and strong painkillers helped and the pain seemed to be getting better - however i still feel pain sitting down / standing up and walking for more than a few metres. Plus the past few days I've noticed my scar becoming more raised and bumpy and stinging / aching more than it had been - is this normal? Can't get my 6 week checkup till the beginning of may as that's the first available appointment unless I make an emergency appointment and don't want to waste drs time with an emergency if this is all normal?! Thanks for your help x
