it seems to hurt most at the back. Did you put anything on it or just let it heal by itself? I was thinking of buying some ointments ... My man is already asking me when i'll be ready. If i didn't have episiotomy i'd be ready now
Lol, hawalkden, moo moo i bet it feels very intense for the first time :} I hope i heal quickly. It's been just 4 days so far but i'm so impatient to get things back to normal!
Does anyone know if you have it done once are you more inclined to have it happen again??
Well you & me both wil be finding out in June, im due 30th of June, how about you?Mine got infected so took about 6 weeks to heal properly. Was not at all pleasant and not looking forward to the next birth. From what I've read you're more likely to tear in the same place as your episiotomy on the next birth.. I shall find out in June!

i had an episiotomy the first time with forceps. The second time i didn't want any intervention, i gave birth naturally and had a small tear, i didn't even feel any pain from it. After I was stitched I did not feel pain or have swelling compared to my episiotomy which took 2 weeks to heal and was very sore and swollen.
