I don't want to wait that long.., I can't sleep. I feel like a zombie and I am just waiting to bleed. I am so worried I will be out and I will bleed everywhere and won't be able to get home - or I will bleed heavily in sleep and wake up covered in blood. I don't want to see it - it is 20mm. I don't want to push. I want this to be over

Can you ask them if you can come sooner, try the phone number on the paper or ring the doctor to ask him to refer you quicker. Say you are spotting and you are worried. I have to wait until Wednesday, then they give me a date so I've got even longer. But mine is a lot smaller as you know. Make a fuss hon it helps sometimes. Explain you have to look after your son too and it's easier sooner than later. xxx

please dont worry shudnt be much bleeding at all cos basically the op cleans things up. mine was 18mm, i am really glad i decided to do it that way. as said before mc is stressful in itself but cant imagine waiting to pass it. you will be fine x

I had my op today and I had the EXACT same fears as you. We've been moving house too so I've been a lot more active.
I waited 8 days for mine and I never bled enough to go on a panty liner. I know everyone's different but I just thought this may put your mind at rest a little.

I had the same worries as you. I only had to wait 4days but spent all the time worrying and expecting it would happen any time - I'd had no spotting or pains so they couldn't tell me when I had mc so when would happen naturally. I even stopped eating as I was so worried and thought if I didnt eat it wouldnt put any pressure on my stomach which in turn wouldnt push anything further down - I know it probably doesnt work like that etc but its all I could think! Nothing happened between my days at all but I know theres nothing that will put your mind at rest. Just try and not worry about it (much easier said than done I know!) and bug the hospital! You never know with the reserve list you may get in earlier....are there no other hospitals in the area you could go to? I had two other ones but the one I went to carried out the most proceedures and had the earliest date so no opportunity to move. Sorry you have to go through these horrible times xx
