Evap on ic

Hey guys!!

Does anyone know the answer to my questions?
Have you ever gotten an evap on an ic?
What did it look like?
Is it possible to hav an evap on every ic - as in I dunked 5 at the same time and they all came up with evap lines?

I keep getting faint lines but my frer says bfn I can't work out why unless it's constant evaps.

Please help as I am going seriously crazy now

I've heard many women say that IC's give evaps although I've never used them personally. Do you have a pic to post to the pregnancy test forum? Also, as I understand it, IC's are 10 miu whereas FRER can detect up to 25 miu..maybe there isn't enough hcg for the frer yet? It seems it could go either way. How many dpo are you?

I had a bad experience with ic's but it was only on one at a time...one came up positive but all the others from the same pee were neg. Do the lines have color? The odds of several false positives are rare. Post a pic! Then take another tomorrow and see if they get darker.

I am 11 dpo and going gradually insane this feels like the worst cycle ever. I just feel like I did everything right this month and then got loads of unusual symptoms and now I am getting bfn with these weird ic 'shadow' type lines that are barely visible. I am in serious need of some retail therapy but I am so bloated at the moment I daren't buy any clothes. [sob] what a big floppy wet splodge I am today [snivel]

I only ever used ic's for confirming all 3 pregnancies - they were called one-step tests and never had an evap ever!

I have been getting evaps on all my IC's. if it has no color it is an evap, or kindof looks like an indent line too. I just know that is going to be there thats why it doesn't bug me so much...but i get them on the frer's too. so who knows.

Looks the same or very similar cdj1! I guess that's a bfn for me then this month
I am off to comfort eat, af is due Thursday so my hope is that I either get a bfp or a bgw (big glass of wine) this weekend

Thanks it does look promising but I really would expect to get at least a faint bfp based on my temps so I think I am going to get a drop soon.....Just waiting for the witch now :/

I have used about 60 IC and only got 1 evap. It looked thinner than the control line and sort of a grey color. I highly doubt you would get 5 evap lines as they aren't that common in my experience. Maybe wait a couple of days and take another FRER. Good luck and lots of

Thanks hopingforit! I do seem to have had a lot of these shadow lines fit they were all evaps I think I will give up on them all together and just wait to test with frer. It's funny you should say about them being thinner as my lines have been the right width.... Hmmm I really must not get my hopes up too much as I am 12 dpo and got a bfn again today with frer.
