Ever wanted BETTER SCAN PICS?

so I absolutely love seeing baby and Finding out we are team pink yesterday. But, in the scans I get to see awesome footage of baby. It's just that the pictures I get to show to others are not very good shots . I saw baby Zaya open her mouth for a good couple of seconds yesterday and they even froze it so we could look at it. So cute, but when they gave my CD-R I brought for the pictures and two printed ones there were none of that stuff. No full pictures of her either. I have two pictures of her face. Neat, but kind of creepy! A picture of her waving- great one! one of her little feet and then a "potty shot" and two of her spine.
I really should not complain I know since so many ladies don't get all the scans I do as I am high risk so they monitor me more. But, I would loved to have compared the 12 week scan pictures to the 18 week pictures and see how much she has changed. I have a great memory so I know what she looked like yesterday.
I am just a bit disappointed and was wondeering if anyone else feels the same at times?

I was pretty disappointed in the quality of scan pic this time around, first time with DS is was a great shot - could see his spine clearly and everything

but with this LO it's just a whole lotta blur... and this is most likely the only scan pic we'll get this time around.

I was actually quite impressed with mine though I do get disappointed we only get one photo unless we go private. These are mine... I would have liked to have had more shots though.

I was really disappointed with my pics at this scan too, however I couldn't fault our tech because baby really just didn't cooperate. When she'd try to freeze certain shots the baby somehow moved just in time to miss it. We've had the same tech for every ultrasound with every baby, and we've always had great pics. Sometimes catching baby in the act is just really hard!

What I do is play the disc back on my tv and pause it and take pics with my cell phone That way I get the ones I want. I mainly use them to go back and look at myself and to show others but im sure I could have them printed just like any other pic on my phone.

I also video the good parts so I can go back and play them too and not have to look at the whole video.

I was disappointed with mine this time round.
I only got one good one (my profile pic) and on the others you just can't really tell what they are. There's one of baby looking like a blob and all blurred and then a couple of what I think is legs and arms but I don't know

i was with one as he was face on so all he looks like is skull but luckly i had to go back 3 weeks later and got a great one the thing that did get me down was on all scans (iv had 4) the screen is away from me while they do there stuff then i got a 2 min glimpse of him

I was so disappointed with our scan, I actually get a little freaked by the pic

Although seeing his/her legs in that position is quite funny. A gymnast a think!!

Main thing is baby was all healthily

I was disappointed a bit too. Ours was wriggling about so much he/she wouldn't stay still for pics. We got one semi clear profile (my profile pic) but thats it. I also got a scary skeleton face one too.

I found the 12 week scan much clearer and detailed but perhaps that was because bubs was much smaller then I don't know.

Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't know they ever did that. Maybe next time. Just think though, in a few months you will be kissing your beautiful babies cheeks
