My son is obsessed with food. It becomes the centre of every activity. When we go to soft play we sometimes stay for lunch but when we arrive he has started to ask for it straight away. When his dad takes him to a craft group they get a biscuit. Now it is the first thing he asks for when they arrive. When we arrive at my mums he goes straight to her fridge asking for yogurts and asks for ice lollies as soon as he gets to mil.

Should i be concerned or is this normal?

I would say it's normal but I wouldn't give in all the time and give him the food straight away.
My son was the same-the minute he walked into my parents he'd want to know what he could have to eat. We started saying he had to wait a certain amount of time because once he'd eaten he wanted to leave!
Not sure how long this lasted for really. He still asks for food wherever we are but if I say no he accepts it straight away.

Yeah we dont give in but mil does. She gives him whatever he wants whenever.

He doesnt want to leave afterwards as he knows he can get more. In fact when I tell him no at home he asks to go to mil houase as he knows he will get it from her.:dohh:

Lol they are monkeys.

Boys seem to eat so much. My son constantly says he's hungry! Sometimes it's definitely boredom though. My son will quite often eat fruit at home/at parents so I don't mind him grazing. I think if he was being given sweets/chocolate/biscuits all the time at parents house I'd have to say something.
