EWCM a few days before period--what?

What does having EWCM about 3 days before expected period mean? This is the first time I've noticed having EWCM during this time since charting. I'm usually very dry before period.

Not semen for sure, had sex 2 days ago so would have been out of my system I'd think. Temps still up there, no drop yet.

I hope someone sheads some insight because I'm in a similar situation, though I'm only 3dpo I fear for me it means I O'd late

For you, however, I hope it means that your body is in the process of creating a mucus plug! Good luck!

I just found this in a google search: "Around the time of implantation many women experience a sudden increase in cervical fluid again and there even may be some pink or brownish tint to some of the cervical mucus. This is thought to be a bit of blood that is caused by the implantation of the egg in the lining of the uterus."

hi girls i had this last month exsactly the same 3 days before period and had never had anything like it and really thought it was a good sign but it wasnt for me my period soon showed up but then i spoke to lady on here and she had the same and got a bfp so i really couldnt say could be either good luck tough to u both hoping its a good sign xx

For me EWCM just before AF is normal it is a pain when recording it on FF as it turns your ovulation line to dashes. Hope it's a good sign for you though. With my last pregnancy I had very green snotty DC which I believe is the creation of a mucus plug. Infact in the weeks before he wad born I lost it and it looked just the same!
