EWCM and Ovulation

Ok, so I know that EWCM happens right before or during o\] vulation, correct? Maybe this is common knowledge on these TTC boards, but I'm just wondering how many days of EWCM you have and on which day or days does ovulation happen around the EWCM? Maybe there's no clear answer, but I'm just wondering.

For me, I had ovulation twinges/cramping on the lower right side on day one of EWCM (I get these ovulation cramps almost every month, so I feel comfortable identifying this specific feeling). I continue to have EWCM 2 days later, although today it does seem to be waning a bit.

I wondered the same thing recently, and after a bit of googling it seems that for 85% of women, ovulation occurs on the day your ewcm ends. On Sunday I woke up with ewcm (had it fri and sat too) but by the evening it was sticky, so I am assuming I ovulated that day.
