Ewcm straight after Af- is this normal?

I've literally just finished af, last night had the last remanants of it and this morn cm, a tinge caramel looking from end of it (sorry tmi) I just went to the toilet and I had ewcm! Wth?! Is this normal to have it so early? I'm cd 7 today x

I usually get it from cd 8....not sure how normal it is as I ovulate anywhere from cd12-18. Can be quite frustrating that your body thinks youre fertile for over a week.....and still no pregnancy

I have found since having a baby, that I get the same thing, EWCM and watery CM straight away after AF. I guess that is because you are more fertile after conceiving x

It's normal to get it after AF from estrogen surges. I'd BD just in case. How long are your cycles? xx

I had this for a few days after O this month, I had never had it before and made a similar post, quite a few ladies posted that they had had it before too so I think its quite normal.

Its pretty common to get a egg white type cm after AF, its just the bodies natural way of flushing the uterus out of the remaining breakdown ready for a fresh new cycle

Then it would be too early for ovulation unless you are having a random really short cycle. I'd BD just in case, but it's most likely just an estrogen surge hun xx

Its normal, cus its the sudden drop in progesterone...from what I was told. I always get ewcm around cd 7-11 anyways, so its normal to me!

So it doesn't necessarily mean you are about to O- this is so damn confusing! I'm worried that this prolonged prolonged period of ewcm means my body is gearing up for O but it doesnt happen. Do you think this could be the case even if I'm as regular ad clockwork? Xx

All EWCM means is you're having an estrogen surge, which can happen after AF, before OV, about a week after OV and right before AF/BFP. It is usually the most right before/during ovulation. That's why it's good not to go by CM or CP to determine when you ovulate because it's quite normal to get batches of ewcm all throughout your cycle.It's best to BD everytime you see EWCM.
