Excited to be back, Metformin day 1!

I was taking a break from ttc for personal reasons, but we are back in business lol. I have PCOS and finally have a great Dr on my side who got me back on metformin (500 first 7 days, then 1000 a day) really hoping this helps to conceive #1 !

Hello, welcome back
I have pcos and I've been on met for min since January- it's helped me bring my cycle to a regular 37 days and my progesterone result came back positive for ovulation. Fi gers crossed we both get good news soon.

Metformin can take a little while to get used to it x

Good luck! I also have PCOS. I have never used Metformin to get pregnant, but I have used Clomid successfully once, and I was able to get pregnant on my own successfully once, which was a surprise for us!

The Metformin IS rough. I started taking it to help with my PCOS symptoms. I switched to the extended release version and it is MUCH better.
