Excited! Unexpected early scan!

Just back from the doctor's he's sending me for a dating ultrasound since my nausea started so early (2.5 weeks after my LMP). I'm certain of my dates, but I didn't argue too much, because who doesn't want an extra ultrasound? The soonest I could book one is June 30th. I'll be almost 8 weeks and should get to see Appleseed's heartbeat!

congrats! it's always good to have extra scans - they won't hurt - just puts your mind at ease that everything is ok take it easy

You never know with your dates, no matter how certain you are! My cousin went for an early scan at 8 weeks and they told her she was 13 weeks!
