Exercise / sex after lap

Hey

When I had mine in 2008, had a mot removed (having another in August) I too missed my running, I had 2 wounds and I made the mistake of going running at the end of the 2nd week. I got about 1 mile in and I was in sheer agony. I knew I shouldn't have as I didn't feel right and in turn I didn't go out running for about 4 weeks after that, think I was frightened!

I would say listen to your body and don't push back into your same routine too quick, take it easy and glide back into it gradually, it is frustrating but after having so much removed its best to look after you body. Get out your bike (if you have one) or get on a cross trainer. Carry on walking though as its good to keep moving rather than getting stiff on the sofa.

Hope you feel better soon x

i had my lap and dye june 7th.... and demanded to have sex the next saturday,
listen to your body, don't let him be on top and i couldn't let him grab my hips, bc with
the bandaids on it, if he did that it felt like he was pulling a bit, so nono,
but it's definatly not undoable.

i was fine the week after, not to go to work though, but to go and do groceries,
maybe still walking a bit funny but not in pain.

was allowed to go back to work after i had my stitches removed after 10 days

exercise... try and if your body says "nooo", then stop and try again later

It's been about 3.5 weeks after my lap and I just went out for my first run. We had :sex: 2.5 weeks after. I only have 2 small incisions and they healed pretty well. xx

oh, i wanted to add... i couldn't go to work earlier bc i have to lift alot (work in a day care),
but if you're at a desk it's totally doable after a week
