Hi all, I am not to this form. I have been off my BCP since July 2014 to start trying for our first baby. I am 29 and have been on BC for 14 years. My first three cycles were between 32 and 28 days long. I stared tracking on the 3rd cycle and noticed my Luteal Phase was 10 days (started B6), the 4 the month 7 days (started taking vitex). I have now had a period 3 periods since Nov 4th and spotting between the cycles when I am ovulating. It is so bizarre; I cant find much for answer on the web. I did contact my obgyn and had an ultra sound Dec 2 to check for any structural abnormalities, but there was nothing, but a big fat follicle and they said I would ovulate in the next two days. That would have been Dec. 4th. I started my period today!!! Not to mention I spotted for 5 days last week during ovulation. My obgyn said if I had another weird period she was going to refer me to an RE. Has anyone experienced this? I am starting to worry I am going into menopause. I dont have any pain, maybe a little cramping and light headaches. Could it be the Vitex? I think I am going to stop taking it.
