ive just been talking to a new friend i met when i saw his band and hes just been telling me about his wife breastfeeding after reading my facebook status (being looked at funny for still pretty much 100% breastfeeding still) and his wife breast fed all 4 of his children untill they were three and none of them have ever had anything wrong with them! no hosp trips nothing! the oldest is 23!

now theres an advert for extended feeding

i thought it was amazing!!! i got frowned at today at baby group cause im STILL breastfeeding.....

Eh!!! She's still so little!!! I just started getting it....my friend asked me if it was 'weird' now she's big....:dohh: and OH's mates wife followed me inside when we were at cricket - I went in to feed as it was chilly and she sat next to me and said 'are you still feeding her yourself??? Yeah! 'Oh.......right......' She looked at me like I was latching her onto a crack pipe......

what both of your babies are so tiny, mine is 10 months and no one gives me any looks about it, and im carrying on at least til a year but probably more.

Still? at 4 months? OMG, what are you supposed to be feeding her? I have only had one still comment, and oddly it came from another BFIng mother with a much younger baby. I just said 'oh yes, there are loads of benefits to extended nursing' and moved on.

yeah... she is quite big.... in 6-9month clothes so maybe thats why???

whaaat? your little one is still so young though! I plan to get to at least a year, but hopefully two!! And who knows? three might be there too  I was an extended BF baby, I really don't see why people have such a big fuss over it.. I mean we have human babies, and so why shouldn't they drink the milk that is properly suited for them? :dohh:
