I thought this would be a good idea for some! With the cost of living in the gutters and everything being so pricey. It came to me last night as I was browsing for "freebies", although some will be against a few ideas. Feel free to add more!

We have the obvious of selling items:
Ebay, Vinted, Depop, Facebook, Shpock

Surveys:
Valued Opinions, Ylive, opinion world, opinion monkey

Receipt scanning:

I joined a zero-deposit gambling site (not advisable if you're in recovery). Had 88 free spins on sign up, "won" £18 in bonus in-game money which I couldn't withdraw so I played with that to meet their wagering requirements and managed to withdraw £24.35 for free!

Just signed up to shopmium. Buy things in your ordinary shop for 50-100% cashback.

My phone will be full of apps!

Signed into topcashback and had £6. 75 sat in my balance from 2019!

Not really a making money for Christmas idea, but a saving money on Christmas - doing a mostly handmade Christmas exchange.
Last year I macraméd Christmas ornaments which I gave out for Christmas presents. I am still figuring out what I am going to make this year. Perhaps a set of macramé coasters

This counts! And is a brill frugal idea for the adult recipients!

Love this idea!
I’m a sucker for anything like this !

Excellent ideas.
I get so annoyed with all the survey sites as seem to take ages to get anywhere.

I do have about £40 in my top cash back which I'm saving for Christmas, got to renew home insurance soon too which will add to that hopefully.

We've also sold lots of DH old work fittings so keeping that aside too.

Will look into some of the other ideas suggested.

I'm only 100% dedicated to one survey site atm and I get offered £1-£10 per survey. Today I had to watch episode 1 (47min) of a new but unreleased TV series for £3, not complaining at that lol.

I've been referring OH to some apps to boost my points for receipts etc.

Been using a coupon finder called 'honey' which is a browser extension which activates promo codes automatically and gives cashback and cashed out from that this evening too. It's a shame I haven't used it more religiously as it was in paypal within 1 hour but have USD conversion rates.

I use Honey too but also Coupert which gives you cashback on some purchases. I have them as browser extension on my Mac firefox.
But one idea I had for friends and adults is to do embroidery (i.e. lavender bags) , felting (christmas ornaments) and stone painting (paper weights). I follow some really great account on instagram and pinterest and I think I will give some of these a go for this year's Christmas.

I'm sure my dad has uses honey. Will have to look into that one x

Asda are now doing a rewards app you can link to your grocery app or scan in store. I've done one shop since getting the app and already have £2 something in my "cash pot" on the app.

I tried to use it on my previous online shop but the app wouldn't load for me and closed down every time I logged in. It's working now so I'll pick some star picks on my next shop!

what is the gambling site? I wouldn’t spend any of my actual money like you, but if it’s free money worth a go!

I’ve also joined upto top cash back & the Asda rewards & will look at the other suggestions.
Thanks

It was Casino888

I’ve been using a survey app called AttaPoll , like C1403 said seems to take ages to make anything ! I only use it though when I cannot sleep haha. X

Do any of you know if you can use the hiney web browser alongside top cash back?

I have been doing well with top cash back so would rather stick with that if you can't combine the two.

Thinking about some survey sites too. Just to bump up some funds

TCB tend to refuse any payout if you combine with other things or not done directly through their links, even if you use a coupon not recommended by them

Thought so.
I think I'll stick with TCB as most of my shops are on there. I also have asda and Co op rewards that are building up slowly.

I give up with survey sites. Tried a few and I just can't be bothered. Half of them came back saying 'not suitable'. Plus not keen on giving out too much personal information.
