Extreme pain lower back (kidney?)

Hi Ladies,
since early thismorning I have had a dull ache on the right side of my lower back near my kidney, it hurts more when I move and wee.
I am 18 weeks today.
It could just be a pulled muscle but I guess i'm a little worried about it..
Has anyone else experienced the same?

this sounds like what I was having last week and then was diagnosed with a UTI. Best speak to MW or doc as you may need antibiotics. Im only on them for 7 days and its cleared up a treat.

go to your docs i am 19 weeks and went to the docs with same symptoms. water was clear of infection ans they have scheduled for my 20 week scan to include a scan on my kidneys to check for swelling which apprently is common in pregnancy :S xxxxx good luck

Oh thats interesting, im having my 18-20week scan on monday,
guess I better pop in to see my GP and get a referral for kidney scan at the same time?

Please go see your GP as soon as possible. UTI can get really bad in days, also affecting both bladder, kydney and sometimes more than that.
