Eye Gender Guess

I have read somewhere on Babyandbump that you can predict the sex of your baby by looking into your eyes. I was wondering if this has actually worked for anyone.

Basically, you have to pull down the skin to see the bottom white part of the eye. In one of these eyes, you will see two y shaped veins in red. The theory is that if these y-shaped veins are in your left, you will be expecting a boy, and if they are on your right, you will be expecting a girl. It was right for my pregnancy and also it was right for my sister's.

For those who already know the sex of their pregnancy, it would be great if you could share your thoughts as to how accurate it is.

Unfortunately I am not too sure how it works for those with multiple births.

hmm....different. I just checked my eyes out of curiosity, and I have veins in both my eyes. Maybe it's cuz I'm tired. I'll look again in the morning. All the silly lil things we do. LOL.

Hrm. My right eye is dark purple (the white part) so I can't see any veins in it. I see veins in my left eye, but nothing "y" shaped. So I wish this worked for me, but I can't quite tell!

If it's in both eyes it's either twins, but if u know u're not having twins then the two veins predict girl. I've read that thread too I think it's called iridology if u search for it u might find it again x

the veins are in both eyes, but if you have a pattern that appears as y shaped, and have two of them in one eye, then this is supposed to confirm gender. Right is for girl and left is for boy. it will be interesting to see if this theory is actually correct or not...

Ooh just read this. I know it's not twins so maybe it's a girl according to this? These things are all so neat. I have my gender ultrasound tomorrow actually so I'll let you know!

I had an ultrasound yesterday and although we couldn't see the babys goods very well(baby was modest) she said she was 80% sure it was a girl.My "Y" veins were in my right eye so maybe its true!

Well, MAYBE it worked? As I said, the white part of my right eye is dark purple (I look like I have a perma-black eye) and I *didn't* have the veins in my left. And I'm team pink. So maybe if I could see my right eye, it'd be correct?

Everything we did for my sis was wrong this time including the eye test. Everything said 100% girl, ultrasound says 100% boy. Everything I have done says boy for me but ultrasound tech came back with maybe girl. Mindboggling for me since it was all right with my first. Waiting to see if it is or not with 3d scan.

I have read that it is supposed to look like a hook. I did it when I was at 15 weeks and I got the right eye.... and I am having a girl!
