I've googled myself to the point of confusion. Can anyone tell me the difference between a "fall back rise" temp and an "estrogen surge" temp? Also approximately what DPO does a "fall back rise" temp normally occur, and approximately what DPO does an "estrogen surge" temp normally occur? Does anyone know? Any responses appreciated :)

Well I know there is an estrogen surge right before ovulation, which lowers bbt and is also called the "estrogen dip". I have never heard of a fallback rise though! Sorry I cant be of more help :)

I had a fallback rise with my son. I don't remember exact dates but it was somewhere around 4-8DPO

I think fertility friend has a page about weird temps after O. I say just see what your temp looks like in the morning. If it goes back up, I would say you fell back. And my dip for that secondary estrogen thing happens at 4-6dpo usually.
