Fall in Love! September Testing Thread

Still following the thread ladies hope you are all doing good - such an exciting thread this month and I must say I enjoyed the sourdough yeast infection story haha :haha:
@thencomesbebe I need updates too how are you doing? Are you on a pregnancy thread somewhere I can follow I would love to see your journey through to baby xx

ugh I always hated that time between a bfn and waiting for af to arrive. It's like...ok...let's get on with it already!
Sorry about the dog @MrsKatie ! We did something very similar year before last. I got it in my head that I wanted another dog, so I got this pit mix puppy who was just as sweet as can be. Well, our present dog was not having any of it. It was absolute chaos in my house between our dog trying to fight the new dog, then the new dog trying to hump our other dog....and then the kids were losing their dang minds. I was having a panic attack between all of it and I just couldn't deal. I took him back after 3 days....and lost half our money. Hubby was not pleased...kids were disappointed but they got over it quickly.

Chickens are great. We have a predator problem here so do have to be mindful of foxes and owls, but we really enjoy our birds (we have ducks and geese too) and of course the eggs!

Thanks @gigglebox, that helps knowing the kids got over it fairly quick. This dog has been incredibly patient with the kids, but I have postpartum anxiety and I cant stop stressing that her patience will run out. I couldnt blame the dog either because a 10 month old just doesnt understand not to poke the dog’s eye! Being 8 months old, this dog had experiences before my family though, and I dont know what those experiences may have left her with in terms of patience.

I wish I could handle training the dog more, the way i trained dogs all my life. But it’s certainly different juggling a toddler, baby, and praying to have another pregnancy.

Between failure with the dog and failure ttc, i’m bummed. Good to know my son will likely get over it quickly. Only had the dog 2 weeks.

@HalfricanMa Im sorry you had to return the dog, but at least you were honest with yourself about it and did the right thing about taking them back sooner rather than later. I live in the country and we get so many dumped animals.

7dpo and have some symptoms, but trying not to get excited. I’m holding out til 9dpo to test, but I may do an opk tomorrow for funsies. Lol I had my progesterone check today and it came back 17.1. The doctor hasn’t reviewed so I don’t know if that good or not.

That sounds like a good number but @shaescott is the resident hormone level analyst :haha: What kind of symptoms @Jules8 ?
Also are you the same Jules that was with me waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back when in the katie thread?

@Jules8 17.1 is good!

Having annoyingly light bleeding, like I have to wear something, but my menstrual disc looks like it’s getting splatter painted rather than filled. Day one is a fill kind of day, normally. Like come on dude, just get it over with. But my temp dropped significantly again, so there’s not exactly any doubt.

Maybe?! lol I’ve been on bnb since before I had my oldest in 2016…I’m thinking around 2014. I have sore boobs, cramping, tired, weird dreams, up early, felt super nauseous randomly this afternoon, cried like 4 times today….but it could all be in my head and stressed over the whole thing. Lol Here’s my chart too. FF hasn’t added the line that I ovulated because I was sick with a fever so there’s a few days with no temp. I had a positive opk and a big temp jump after so I know I ovulated CD20

Omg!!! So sorry for the late update ladies!!! I've been wanting to message our board ALL DAY!! First scan went absolutely perfectly, I am 6w4d today and she is measuring 6w6d and has a beautiful little heartbeat!! I really can't ask for more than that. Not much to see in the u/s but the yolk sack and a tiny crescent moon baby ❤️ but I am definitely over the moon! I will try to start a thread or journal on here for updates but until then I will post here, if that's okay! Next scan is Oct 11

So happy for you!

Also, I am so sorry for the bfn's ladies, and I am also so hopeful that this next cycle will be the one for you!!!

Holy moly.
Ladies, I’m 11 dpo.
Didn’t test this morning.
Decided to test when I came home just after lunch. Didn’t really see anything happening in like 2 seconds and put the test back in the sleeve it came in….
Just pulled it out this evening and this is what I see.
I’m about to test again to see if anything shows now.
Omg

I’m going to share my chart here. At this point, I’m not expecting a positive tonight. I haven’t “held” anything and pee is super diluted. I’m hopeful for tomorrow morning.
