Has anyone had a false negative on a blood test before?
I know it seems that I'm clutching at straws but I am just a bit concerned as I am still spotting and have been since Sunday 2nd Oct (10 days). Doc has run tests for infection, Quantitative HCG, Progesterone (just above 10, if I remember rightly) and FSH (low) and LH (high).
Could it have been too early, has anyone else had this?
Other symptoms...loss of appetite each day for the first few hours from waking (usually wake up desperate to eat!), darker areolas, bloated, bleeding gums, nausea, constipation (sorry TMI!), huge breakouts but they have calmed down now. I also had insomnia for a while and acutely aware of smells.
Also went for an ultrasound, saw one 1cm follicle on ovary and other follicles around (PCO, which I already knew).
My LMP was 30th Aug but that took 7 weeks to come from before the last one.
