False positive on OPKs

I wasn't sure where to post this but I have a question can birth control pills give you a false positive on an ovulation test? Because I skipped a pill one night and the next day I decided to take and opk and it was a blazing positive with second morning urine so I took one again that night and it was negative. Can bcp cause a false positive on opks? I take mononessa if that matters..

I founds the OPKs always gave me a positive lol, but I have PCOS so my doc said I could have slight levels of hormones. I never tried them on BC though, sorry. But if you only missed one pill, you shouldn't have ovulated. It is possible though, but I'm not sure how soon after it would happen!
