Family has diarreah and vomiting, what should I do?!?!

Oh had really bad diarreah and vomiting from Thursday night and it has calmed down today but now tonight ash has started throwing up every 10mins and had diarreah all in his pants becuase he couldn't make it to the loo
So what do I do about Tristan, he's not even 2weeks old yet! Last night he wouldn't settle for 4hours due to tummy pain I think but in so frightened he will get ill too! We are sitting in the bedroom now to stay away but it's horrible cuz my eldest is so upset
We've been so careful with hand washing and towels etc
What should I do? Part of me feels like leaving to a hotel so Tristan doesn't catch it but maybe he already has?! Help!!

Sounds like Norovirus or something like it. It is very contagious through touching bodily fluid.
The main thing is try and keep him hydrated and away from those that are sick. If your OH is feeling well enough, then have him look after your eldest if possible and you stay with bubs.
I would say if you were going to catch it, you will be carrying it already, it may just not have emerged yet... usally takes about 24 -48 hours.
Also, it tends to get less virulent the more through the family it goes as you all start to develop immunities. Is Bubs BF or FF?

As you said, lots of hand washing, not using same towels, wash all surfaces as much as possible, including door handles!
