Family rant :-(

Grr ive had enough of being singled out from everything. OH's dad (rileys grandad) hasnt seen him in over 8 months now, purely for the fact he 'doesnt like me' now were 'banned' from his parents house.. Its doing my head in because ive actually done nothing wrong.. apart from bring up riley by myself, and for some reason they hate me for it?!

Tonight.. me and riley was meant to be staying at his.. then he says oh can i not just stay at yours tomorrow night. (His parents basically dont want us there) so ive blown out again.. considering its 12 days since me and riley actually saw OH. Why do i fuckin bother

Ikr.. No matter how many arguements me and OH have had.. not once does my family single him out and ban him from my house, they always keep thier mouths shut for my sake.. but on OH's side theyre like 'shes not coming here'

It just shows who the stronger people are. If your OH's parents can't even put aside the fact that they 'don't like you' etc then they really don't deserve riley. He's gorgeous x

Just because they 'don't like you' doesn't mean they can't have a relationship with their grandson! They sound extremely immature honestly .. & that is them CHOOSING not to see Riley, which is awful It's not like you're keeping him from them! Sheesh, sometimes I swear older adults are waaaaay more immature & sensitive then we are. I hope everything gets better

pretty much. and becuase im not allowed there,my OH is like 'they wanna take riley out for the day' AS IF?! They havent seen him in 8 months.. thats like handing him over to a stranger!! & He is, he doesnt stick up for me at-all.

If I was you I'd tell his parents that if they don't bother with Riley for 8 months then they can't expect to have him on their own.. And I'd give your OH a piece of my mind

That's crazy, how immature of them! Maybe you need to go and have a talk with them and find out exactly what you've done wrong to make them feel this way. Maybe they've heard a rumour?? Either way, it should be sorted out for you and your OH, and particularly for Riley's sake. Plus I bet you're trying to work out what on earth you've done wrong, be easier to go find out straight from them?

Slightly off topic but my OH's mum never asks to take Jake out. She says 'oh I'll take Jake out for a walk'... it's like erm excuse me ask first... so that would really annoy me!!

me and OH went through a bad patch around april time for a few months, too much arguing, so now his family HATE me.. yet my OH threatend to take me to court etc which my family knew about yet they still let him stay over. I would like to talk to them, but im not even allowed to do that!xx

I know how that feels. I let OH's parents babysit once and said he needs to do this that and the other (he has a very good night time routine which works for both of us) and they didn't bath him until about 9pm
