When Angus is 8 months old I'll be going back to work :( I just wondered how much milk he'll need during the day at that age? I'll feed him first thing, in the evening after I've picked him up & at night but how much approx will I have to express for during the day?

It's probably more about your breasts than his need for milk. That is, the breastfeeding pre/post work, and during the night, will probably be enough to keep your supply up and give him immunities; and he may well be eating enough solids to supply nutritional needs while you are seperated (esp if he reverse-cycles). But your boobs may need emptying during the day, I'd guess once.

My son can go the whole day without feeding & then feeds all night long! He only does this when im not there so i wouldn't worry too much. You can always leave milk in a sippy cup for him ( free flow)
