Feeding

So Jack is four weeks old today and we put him up to 4oz the other week and he pretty much finishes off the whole bottle but he is still hungry every 2 hours.
Is he not supposed to be feeding less regularly? The longest he goes is from 9pm to 2am but other then that its pretty much every 2 hours.
When will he start to go longer or is he supposed to be going longer by now?

Ava is the same, she has 4oz every 2 hours but she can start crying for more food after 30 mins sometimes!
So I put her on hungry baby formula and she is soo much better, gos for 3 hours between feeds and 4 hours at night
So maybe try him on that and see if things improve?

ive gone onto aptmal hungry baby also as my little on was going every hour 3 or 4 oz

on new stuff i get about 2 or 3 hours at night and about 4 in day time and he will have anything between 3 and 5 oz and he seems more settled as well

Yeah thats the one iv been using. Cow and Gate for hungrier babies but doesnt seemed to of made a difference.
He sometimes screams for more after an hour

He could be having a growth spurt or hes just a hungry lil boy like mine, and you'l just have to feed him when he wants it. My LO is the same, and is on hungry baby milk too. Luckilly hes 4 months old now and i have started to wean onto baby porridge, but he still wants a bottle every 2/1 hours!

infact this morning, from when we got up at 7.30 til now (12.30) hes had 4, 5 once bottles! thats 4 bottles in 5 hours, its crazy!

I guess i just have a hungry baby then. I think he is gonna be a big boy

My LO is still feeding every 2 and a half - 3 hours at nearly 9 weeks old. Its normal..you just have to feed on demand. xx
