Feel like I have the flu - can I take anything?

Is there anything apart from paracetamol I can take? Not sure how I would get the flu in this heat but I have a bunged up nose, splitting headache, am totally knackered and my throat is sore

You are actually more prone to getting sick while pregnant. My allergies are really bad and my sinuses have been killing me. Unfortunately, everything I have read says avoid any medication for the first 12 weeks.

This is what I think is going on with me. It's called pregnancy rhinitis.
