I have never been particularly fashionable but liked my size 12 hourglass figure. I've been struggling with maternity wear mostly due to my boobs! I have a nice bump but it's about level with my now F cup books so floaty tops skim from them to bump with no in between. If I put a belt it looks lost and elastic under the bust just makes them so obviously huge I don't think the men in work would know where to look!

Any suggestions? I've been sewing tie backs into floaty tops to give me a waist but I'd like other ideas.

Cross-over tops help to separate your boobs from your bump. I am a similar size to you from the sounds of it. I hate wearing floaty tops with no shape to them as I just feel like a barrel :haha: I mostly wear stretchy fitted tops or jumpers with a v neck and a good bra! When it gets to third tri though I have to watch that my belly button doesn't show through things when it pops out

Good thinking! I had generous boobs before (DD) and used this to avoid the one giant boob syndrome.

I wish there was more stuff in high street shops so you can try it on. Sometimes if I order clothes and they're just ok I just can't be bothered sending them back.

Lol I agree that there should be more stuff to try on in the shops. I went on a shopping trip at the weekend and couldn't find anywhere that had maternity to try on! Everywhere said it was available online. So annoying, just because I have a bump it doesn't mean every item of maternity will fit or look nice!
