Feeling like I am about to start my period? Normal??

I am 35 weeks pregnant and I feel exactly the way I would feel a day before my period would start. My back aches, slight cramping and my legs are sore... has this happened to anyone?? and if so is it signs of labor or just normal symptoms for someone who is 35 weeks pregnant??

I had to work today, and i had a full day feeling EXACTLY the same. Awful day! So I would like to hear what people reply to this thread as well! (35 week on weds) x

I've had that same feeling consistantly since about 33 34 weeks, very uncomfortable.. It's like nonstop PMS... like the first day when it's the worst (for me anyways).
I'm pretty positive it's normal I mentioned it to my Dr. he didn't say anything about it..
There's just alot going on down there..

i totally have these feelings off and on all the time since about week 34 or so.... I also mentioned it to Doc, but no one seems concerned! its normal i take it.
I guess its a way of our body preparing in there for little bubs to come soon....oh i cant wait....
i mean i dont want to go thro labour and im scared poopless but im ready for baby to come out!

Thanks for the response and this feeling just started today. I hated it every month when my period was coming but this time I am not minding it so much if it means that baby is on his way. I, like you (albaangel) and so scared considering I have never had to stay in a hospital before and I am a complete wimp when it comes to pain BUT I cannot wait to go through the whole process to start our new family.

I think the last few weeks of pregnancy are sooooo miserable (IMO) so that by the time it's labor time were good and ready for the pain!
